As of May 14th, 2011, the South Tahoe Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Service reported there were 316 Active Listings and 11 homes went into escrow in the City and County neighborhoods of South Lake Tahoe during the period of May 8th-14th. None of those 11 homes that went into escrow were REO (bank owned) or short sales. 10 homes were sold from May 8th-14th. The median home price of these homes was $317,500 and the average home price among these homes sold was $358,220. The year before, during the same time period, 17 properties closed escrow. In 2009 there were 8 closed escrows.
